1. Poetry- only 20-150 lines for each poem and only up to two poems allowed for the total “collection” (or each submission)
2. Song Lyrics- only 20-150 for each song and only up to two songs allowed in total “album” (or each submission)
3. Short Story- only 500–3,000 words: if the genre is Sci-fi, Fantasy, or Humor, then submit to the corresponding category (categories)
4. Personal Essay/Memoir and Speeches- only 500–3,000 words: if the genre is Humor, please submit to the corresponding category
5. Journalism and Critical Essays- only 500–3,000 words: A work cited page is required, but it doesn’t count toward the final word count.
6. Humor- only 500–3,000 words
7. Flash Fiction only 50–1,000 words
